About Stemio
Stemio is a web-based platform for music producers and composers who deliver music for sync licensing, TV, trailers, film and other media. It turns a folder of exported stems into an organised project and generates the alternate mixes that music libraries and supervisors ask for.
What Stemio does
When you upload stems, Stemio analyses each file and identifies what it is, such as drums, bass, vocals, piano, guitars, synths, strings or effects, using both the audio itself and the file name. Your stems are sorted into a project automatically, so there is nothing to rename or file by hand.
From there you choose mix presets, like an instrumental or a vocal-only version, and Stemio renders each one from your original stems in seconds. Finished mixes are named consistently and can be downloaded one at a time or together in a single zip.
Who it's for
Stemio is built for producers who pitch to sync libraries, publishers and music supervisors, where every track needs several alternate versions. Making those by hand in a DAW means bouncing the same session over and over. Stemio does that repetitive work for you, so you can spend your time writing music.
Stemio works only with the stems you upload. It does not generate music, and you keep full ownership of everything you upload.
Getting started
Stemio runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install. You can start free with one project, and upgrade to Pro or Team for more projects, stems and storage. Studios and labels can contact us about an Enterprise plan.
